Are you looking to build your career in Quality Control within a successful manufacturing business?
We're recruiting for a QC Technician to join a well-established manufacturer supplying high-quality products to global consumer markets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a scientific background and laboratory experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
The OpportunityAs a QC Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring raw materials, production batches and finished products consistently meet quality standards before release. Working closely with Production and other internal teams, you'll help maintain product quality while supporting the smooth running of manufacturing operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out Quality Control testing on raw materials, in-process and finished productsRelease materials and batches against agreed specificationsInvestigate and record non-conformancesSupport batch rework activities where requiredMaintain accurate laboratory records and quality documentationUpdate internal quality systemsLiaise with internal departments to ensure products are released on timeMaintain high laboratory housekeeping and Health & Safety standardsAbout YouWe're looking for someone who has:
A strong scientific background gained through education, vocational qualifications or hands-on laboratory experiencePrevious experience within a Quality Control, laboratory or manufacturing environment (preferred)Excellent attention to detailStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to work both independently and as part of a teamExperience within the chemical, homecare, household, fragrance, personal care or consumer products sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Important InformationThis position is based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire and starts at 6:00am.
Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Brixworth for a 6:00am start each working day. Candidates living locally or with access to their own transport will be best suited to this opportunity.
