Smart4Sciences is recruiting for a Senior QC Analyst to join one of the UK's leading generic pharmaceutical manufacturers. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated scientist to develop their career within a GMP-regulated Quality Control environment, supporting the testing and release of products that make a real difference to patients' lives.
The RoleAs a Senior QC Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting Quality Control activities through the validation, verification, and execution of analytical methods. Working within a collaborative laboratory team, you will help ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of raw materials, components, and finished pharmaceutical products.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and executing analytical method validation and verification studiesPerforming routine analysis using techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, and UVSupporting the monitoring of raw materials, components, in-process samples, and finished productsPreparing validation protocols, reports, and technical documentationEnsuring compliance with GMP, Health & Safety, and COSHH requirementsSupporting continuous improvement initiatives within the QC laboratoryAssisting with laboratory investigations and troubleshooting activities where requiredThe CandidateWe are keen to speak with candidates who possess:
A degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific disciplineExperience within a pharmaceutical or regulated laboratory environmentDemonstrable experience in analytical method validation and/or verificationKnowledge of analytical techniques including HPLC, UPLC, GC, and UVA strong understanding of GMP, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulationsExcellent attention to detail and scientific problem-solving skillsThe ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamPrevious supervisory or mentoring experience would be advantageousWhy Apply?This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established pharmaceutical organisation known for its commitment to quality and innovation.
